The APC unveiled the Party's National Vice Presidential Candidate
Amidst the unveiling, there was a stir on social media of people dressed in Chasubles and Bishops Cassocks and Zucchettos, of which a lot of people have reacted.
Priests on social media like Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ehioma, popularly known as Fr. Mentor, took to his Facebook Page to address the issue.
Fr. Mentor said he's not happy and not surprised at all. He said that anyone can decide to be referred to as a Bishop, Pastor, Prophet or even a Saint, as Cassocks are being sold in the Market.
According to him, "The people in these pictures are the 'Political Hirelings' contracted by the shameless APC. They were hired by APC to come to their gathering, in order to add a Christian colour to their foolish Muslim/Muslim declaration today."
He still said that it's fine to keep abusing the Christian faith but it is unacceptable to keep killing them (the Priests). He said they may tolerate the idea of using fake Priests to add a Christian colour to the event but Priests should stop being murdered.
Fr. Alfred Agbonlahor in Benin, also comment on an APC United Kingdom post that those in the picture are not Priests but area Men hired to paint the event Christian-like.
Rev. Fr. Kelvin Ugwu also took his time to enlighten his over 200 thousand followers on Facebook about the use of the Chasuble in the Catholic Church, without making mention of the APC drama in the unveiling of the Vice Presidential Candidate at Abuja.
All Priests and well-meaning Nigerians are seriously campaigning for Mr. Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra State, whonis the Presidential Candidate for the Labour Party.
