Rev. Fr. Gabriel Okeke and Mr. Peter Obi

Rev. Fr. Gabriel Okeke, a Nigerian Catholic Priest, based in New York, had taken to his Facebook Page to tell his fans to pray against a dream he had concerning the Presidential Flag bearer of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi.

In his post, Fr. Gabriel said he had a dream in the night of August 10/11. "Peter Obi went for an event, and there was stampede. It was caused by the many fans who wanted to touch him."

He explained that in the dream, some of those that were there are enemies, but pretending to be Fans.

"These" he said "caused the stampede, and Peter was seriously wounded, but Security Operatives managed to whisk him away."

"Today as I came online and saw videos of him in an event and how the crowd was rushing at him, I was afraid. I regained calmness when I saw that nothing happened to him," the Priest said.

Fr. Gabriel urges everyone to pray against such occurrence, as he assured he had prayed against it too.

Continuing, he said, "We see things in dream sometimes as prevision, so that if they’re bad, we pray to prevent them; if good, we pray they happen."

He then prayed that God will bless us all, bless our nation, and Africa at large, and give us this man(Mr. Peter Gregory Obi) as our president. Amen.

As at when this article was written, Fr. Gabriel's post had gathered more than 1,300 reactions and 300 comments from his staunch followers. Lots of them prayed for the safety of Peter Obi.

One Mr. Ike Chukwu said: I had same dream too last night Padre. In my dream, the stampede was caused by some hoodlums that wanted to harm people. We all ran but he stayed put and refused to run. Somehow I managed to escape and then woke up. I have been too busy since morning to think about it till I saw your post.
