Reverend Sisters joined the protest to free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

This happened in the morning hours in the morning hours of Monday, July 26, 2021, in Italy.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu had been agitating for the Igbos from the Nigerian Government since 2009. His agitations have resulted to so many mayhem for him, like losing his mother and could not attend her burial. In February 2020, his house was ransacked and riddled with bullets.

Nnamdi Kanu was first arrested in 2015 on count of terrorism, treasonable felony and managing an unlawful society, but disappeared in 2017, in the middle of his trial, when granted bail based on his failing health. Sine then, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been a fugitive, fleeing from place to place, so as to keep his agitations alive. He was again apprehended in Kenya on June 27 and brought back to Nigeria to continue his trial. The Court also rejected Kanu's Lawyer s' plea to put in a Correctional Center, and ordered he must remain in DSS Custody.

Protest in Italy to free the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the spokesman of the Igbo people, even though lots of them do not support his agitation for secession, but there have been protests in many parts of the World. Even Reverend Sisters were spotted holding the Biafran Flag, and wearing a Biafran-coloured Nose Mask. The Reverend Sisters wore their Habit, while some laypeople amidst them wore a red short with "Biafra"printed on it, with a red Beret.

Even Reverend Father Mbaka, the Pastor of the Adoration Ministries Enugu Nigeria, AMEN, laments that the government of Nigeria have not done well. He asked that of what use is the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, and that has anything changed since he has been arrested.?

We so hope that the agitations of the IPOB would not result to violence and or ethnic crisis, but be resolved with peaceful dialogue. Amen.
