A beautiful image of the cloud, forming an image of Christ the Redeemer had surfaced on social media.

This image surfaced on Facebook on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, by 2:31 a.m. Erick Pech, a photographer, captured the incredible image of the sunset in which the clouds form what appears to be Christ the Redeemer. The image had since gone viral on social media networks.

Photographer Erick Pech wrote this caption about his photo:

“I’m a sunset fan, and whenever I see the possibility of taking a good photo, I do my best to take it. So I share this beauty with you,” Pech said. “I don’t know if it’s a sign, but the photo speaks for itself.”

The photo generated viral attention after appearing in local media. El Surete Notícias first published the image.

“Image of Christ appeared in the sky, the people say,” the translated Facebook post says.

“Through their networks, one inhabitant of the population of Yaxcabá and another of the population of Temozón almost 100 km away, shared the precise moment where it is claimed that the image of Christ was made present.”

The photographer added this comment after his picture went viral:

“Thanks for sharing! An expert in these subjects who studies each image before sharing to confirm that it is not ‘Photoshop,’ as many people mention. But this is a pareidolia.”

However, the picture is a note-worthy resemblance to that of Christ the Redeemer!
