Saint Pio de Pietrelcina

God has numerous ways of manifesting his Omnipotence to us. One of the most admirable is the one that refers to the Holy uncorrupted Bodies.

When the Vatican opened the tomb of Pope John XXIII. To the surprise of those who performed the ceremony, and despite the decades that had passed since his death, his body was completely incorrupt. This is not the first time this has happened.

The case of Saint Bernadette Soubirous, the seer of the Apparition of Our Lady of Lourdes, is one of the most admirable and well-known. Her face still show the peace and joy that reflects the happiness she felt the moment she reached the gates of the Celestial Homeland.

Also, the body of the Holy Cure of Ars, is uncorrupted. He lived a life of mystical feats, of fighting the devil, of tireless work in the confessional.

Saint Jacinta Marto, the girl who, together with her brother Francisco and her cousin Lucía Dos Santos, received the visit of the Woman Clothed with the Sun in Fatima, showed her angelic girl's face totally incorrupt when several years after her death her remains was moved to Portugal .

The heart of Saint Vincent de Paul, founder of the Vincentian Order, is also incorrupt, as well as several parts of the body of Saint Francis Xavier, the priest who evangelized various countries in Asia a few centuries ago.

Saint John Bosco

Blessed Carlo Acutis

Saint Catherina Laboure

And thus one can name Saint Clare of Assísi, Blessed Imelda, Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, Saint Rita of Cascia, Saint John Bosco, Saint Catherine Labouré, Saint Peregrino Laziosi, Saint Pío of Pietrelcina, Blessed Carlo Acutis and so many other Saints who bear witness to the living Presence of Jesus amidst us today.
