Do you know this alleged prophecy of the Blessed Virgin Mary?
In 1914 and again in 1987, Our Lady supposedly appeared in the town of Hrushiv, Ukraine. The first appearance occurred on May 12, 1914, just before the First World War broke out.
Our Lady appeared to 22 people who were working in the fields near the Church of the Holy Trinity in Hrushiv, Ukraine.
Ukraine: The alarming prophecy of the Virgin in an alleged 1987 apparition
This was his first message from 1914:
“There will be a war. Russia will become a country without God. Ukraine, as a nation, will suffer terribly for eighty years and will have to live through world wars, but then it will be free."
Ukraine suffered under KGB terror for almost 80 years and independence came on August 24, 1991.
The second apparition occurred in 1987 to 12-year-old Maria Kyzin, also in Hrushiv.
Because the 1914 prophecy was fulfilled, Canadian priest that the alleged 1987 apparitions are taken seriously by the Catholic Church.
Our Lady appeared on April 27, 1987, exactly one year after the Chernobyl disaster. Approximately 500,000 people reportedly witnessed these apparitions, including KGB soldiers!
Here are some quotes from the alleged 1987 apparitions and the prophecy of the Virgin:
"I have come on purpose to thank the Ukrainian people because they have suffered the most for the church of Christ in the last 70 years," Our Lady said.
“ I have come to comfort you and to tell you that your suffering will soon come to an end. Ukraine will become an independent state."
“Don't forget those who have died in the Chernobyl disaster. Chernobyl is a reminder and a sign for the whole world."
“Forgive your enemies. Through you and the blood of the martyrs, Russia will be converted. Repent and love one another. The times are coming that have been foretold as those in the end times.”
Then, the Virgin's prophecy continues: “Look at the desolation that surrounds the world… the sin, the laziness, the genocide. Pray for Russia. Oppression and wars continue to occupy the minds and hearts of many people. Russia, despite everything, continues to deny my Son. Russia rejects real life and continues to live in darkness. If there is no return to Christianity in Russia, there will be a Third World War; the whole world will face ruin.”
“Teach the children to pray. Teach them to live in the truth and you live in the truth. Pray the Rosary. It is the weapon against Satan. He fears the Rosary. Pray the Rosary at any gathering of people.”
